So, I have a minor addiction to Sporcle quizzes.

(In case you are not familiar, Sporcle is website full of trivia quizzes that is especially dangerous when one is prone to procrastination.)

I’m not quite as obsessed as I used to be—I don’t really have the time anymore—but I once gave up Sporcle for Lent, I love it so much. In the early days of Sporcle, they used to have college rankings on the sidebar, based on how well students from different colleges were doing on the quizzes. You don’t need to have an account to play, but it tracks your progress if you do, and it used to ask what college you attended. I waited until finals were over to sign up for an account so as not to tempt myself, but when I did, Notre Dame rose to #1 in the rankings. Just saying.

From Sporcle, I have gained a large amount of generally useless knowledge. Well, mostly useless—it does come in handy at trivia nights!
