Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I saw some of the parade here on Fifth Avenue—lots of bagpipe bands :)

March Madness has begun! I did okay in the bracket pools yesterday—13 for 16. I’m hoping to catch up and take the lead!

Notre Dame juuuuust squeaked by Princeton—I watched some of the game during my lunch hour, and it was nerve-wracking. I missed the beginning of the Villanova game, but that’s probably for the best, considering how it went…

Last week I was able to go to two of the Big East Tournament games at Madison Square Garden, thanks to my parents—my mom is a big Villanova fan. I saw a fight break out on the court during the St. John’s–Georgetown game, which was pretty crazy. And then I got to see Villanova win the Big East Championship:

2017 has brought a lot of big changes: I started a new job last month, and it’s been a really good transition. And my roommate got engaged and is now in the thick of wedding planning. Busy year so far!

I’ve had a lot going on, and I’ve been sick about four times in the past two months, which is not so great. I’m hoping things will quiet down a bit soon!

I had a few days off before I started my new job, so I spent an afternoon at the Met and took a day to go skiing.

My sister got me the best Christmas present: tickets to see Billy Joel live at Madison Square Garden. We went in January, and it was a blast!

A few weeks ago, I had the chance to attend a media training with Women Speak for Themselves in Washington, DC. I can’t say enough about their organization and the amazing group of women there. They do great work, empowering women to share their voices. Their website is a great resource for articles and fact sheets that speak the truth about what it really means to be pro-woman.

Have a great weekend—may all your brackets be green!
