Highlights of 2024

• Finished settling into my new apartment with new furniture. Also dealt with the aftermath of last year’s flooding and replaced the rug that had gotten soaked.

• Welcomed my nephew in February! It’s been a fun year watching him grow.

• Went skiing with friends in February.

• Became the new president of the Frassati Fellowship of NYC.

• Spent a week in Florida in March and visited Universal with my dad.

• Hosted a March Madness party with lots of basketball-themed baked goods.

• Sponsored a friend entering the Church at Easter vigil and celebrated her baptism!

• Created the fifth annual Aughie Madness video.

• Helped lead the spring Frassati retreat in Manhattan.

• Had a successful minor surgery in April.

• Celebrated Luke’s baptism in May and was honored to be his godmother.

• Spent Memorial Day weekend at a friend’s lake house.

• Competed in a scavenger hunt around Manhattan.

• Had Father’s Day brunch with my family.

• Brought back Frassati’s Lectio Divina series.

• Hosted a Frassati pool day at my parents’ house in June.

• Went camping with friends over Fourth of July weekend.

• Finished the first draft of the Frassati book!

• Led the Frassati ministry leaders’ retreat in July.

• Traveled to Italy with my family in August, visiting Santa Margherita Ligure, Monterosso al Mare, Portofino, and Sanremo.

• Flew from Italy to Poland for the Frassati pilgrimage, where we visited Warsaw, Częstochowa, Auschwitz, Wadowice, Kraków, Wieliczka, Zakopane, and Niepokalanów.

• Had a family barbecue in August.

• Celebrated Elena’s bachelorette party.

• Spent Labor Day weekend down the Jersey shore.

• Helped lead the Frassati retreat in September at Villa Maria Guadalupe.

• Spent a week in October visiting friends in Texas.

• Watched Notre Dame beat Navy at MetLife stadium in October.

• Flew to Mexico City to celebrate Elena’s wedding. Celebrated All Saints’ Day Mass at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe and helped play music for her wedding Mass the next day.

• Celebrated my birthday in November (Luke joined the party in ND attire, ready to watch the game!).

• Attended the Shamrock Series festivities when Notre Dame came to NYC in November, with Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, a band concert in Times Square, and a win over Army in Yankee Stadium.

• Had a Frassati friendsgiving with the CFR friars.

• Celebrated Luke’s first Thanksgiving.

• Cheered on the Irish to victory in a playoff win! Hoping for another victory tonight in the Sugar Bowl.

• Celebrated Christmas with family.

• Road tripped from NJ to Florida with my parents.

• Spent a morning at the zoo with Luke.

• Had New Year’s Eve dinner with family and rang in the new year watching football.
